Before you rely on this page. Several clauses below are marked as needing confirmation and contain sensible defaults rather than terms you have agreed to. They must be reviewed and finalised before this page goes live — see the note at the foot of the page.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms apply between Hugo de los Santos Gutiérrez, trading as Valhalla Adventures (Cruz Verde 22, 02200 Casas-Ibáñez, Albacete, Spain, NIF ES53602858R), and the person or group booking an experience. Full contact details are in our Legal Notice.

2. How a booking is made

Nothing on this website is a binding offer, and booking a planning call commits you to nothing. A booking exists only once all of the following have happened:

  1. you have told us your group size, date and chosen experience;
  2. we have sent you a written confirmation with the activities, the meeting point, the timing and the total price; and
  3. you have accepted that confirmation.

The written confirmation is what governs your booking. Where it differs from the indicative prices on this website, the confirmation prevails.

3. Prices

Prices are shown per person in euros and include the technical equipment and guiding described for each experience. They do not include travel to the meeting point, personal insurance, or anything not expressly listed. Applicable Spanish taxes are shown in the written confirmation.

Prices on this website are indicative and may change. The price in your written confirmation is fixed once you accept it.

4. Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and the accepted payment methods, are stated in your written confirmation.

5. If you cancel or change

Please tell us as early as you can — plans change and we would rather move a date than lose you. Cancellation terms, including any deadlines and charges, are set out in your written confirmation.

Changes to the number of participants can affect the per-person price, since our experiences are priced by group size. We will confirm any difference in writing before it applies.

6. If we cancel or move a date

Safety decides. If water levels, weather or any other condition makes an activity genuinely unsafe, we will say so and will not run it. In that case we will offer you, at your choice, an alternative date, an equivalent alternative activity, or a full refund of what you have paid for the affected activity.

Rain by itself is not a reason to cancel a water activity. Our guides make the call on the day, and their decision on safety is final.

7. Your right of withdrawal

Please note that under Article 103(l) of the Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities booked for a specific date or period. Your cancellation rights are therefore the contractual ones set out in section 5 and in your written confirmation.

8. Participation requirements

Our activities take place in open natural environments and involve physical effort and inherent risk. By booking you confirm for yourself and everyone in your group that each participant:

Guides may exclude a participant from an activity, without refund, where taking part would endanger that person or others.

9. Equipment

We provide the technical equipment listed for each experience and you must use it as instructed — helmets, buoyancy aids and wetsuits are not optional. Please treat it carefully; you may be asked to cover loss or damage caused deliberately or through clear negligence.

10. Insurance

We hold the civil liability insurance required for active-tourism activities in Spain; details are in our Legal Notice. That cover does not replace personal accident, health or travel insurance, and we strongly recommend that every participant has their own.

11. Liability

We are liable for damage caused by our own fault or negligence, in accordance with Spanish law. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that Spanish law does not allow to be limited.

We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the activity, nor for consequences arising from a participant ignoring the safety briefing or withholding relevant health information.

12. Photographs

We sometimes take photographs during an activity and are happy to share them with you afterwards. We will not publish any image in which a participant is recognisable without that person's separate, explicit consent, which you are free to refuse or withdraw at any time.

13. Complaints

If something goes wrong, tell us first — most things are solved fastest on the day or with an email to info@valhallaadventures.com. Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available from us on request, as Spanish consumer law requires.

The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Applicable law

Spanish law applies. Consumers may bring proceedings before the courts of their own place of residence, in accordance with Spanish and EU consumer protection rules.

15. Personal data

How we handle the information you give us when booking is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Note for the site owner — remove before launch. Sections 4, 5, 8, 10 and 12 are marked REVIEW in the page source and currently describe reasonable defaults rather than terms you have set. Payment and cancellation in particular are left pointing at "your written confirmation", which is safe but vague — customers respond better to a stated policy. Please fill these in, and have a Spanish adviser check sections 8, 10 and 11 against your insurance before you sell to the public.
